Important: FitScript is a telemedicine platform. All medical decisions are made by licensed doctors, not by the platform. Read this disclaimer carefully before using our services.

1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

FitScript's services are not suitable for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 112 or go to your nearest hospital immediately. Do not use FitScript for emergency medical situations.

2. Prescriptions Require Clinical Assessment

GLP-1 medications are prescription-only drugs under Indian law. A prescription will only be issued following a one-to-one video consultation with an NMC-registered doctor who has reviewed your full medical history. FitScript does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. The prescribing doctor's clinical judgment is final.

3. The Doctor May Decline Telemedicine Care

In line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, the consulting doctor may, at their professional discretion, determine that your condition cannot be safely or appropriately managed through telemedicine. In that case, the doctor will decline to prescribe and advise you to seek an in-person medical consultation instead.

4. Minors

FitScript's services are restricted to patients aged 18 and above. If a doctor has reason to believe a patient is a minor, the consultation will not proceed and no prescription will be issued unless a verified adult is present and the patient's identity and age are confirmed, in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020.

5. Individual Results Vary

Weight loss results reflect average outcomes and individual experiences. Your results may differ based on metabolism, adherence, health conditions, and other factors. FitScript makes no guarantee of specific weight loss outcomes.

6. Side Effects

GLP-1 receptor agonists may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, fatigue, and in rare cases pancreatitis or thyroid changes. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe or persistent side effects.

7. Contraindications

GLP-1 medications are not suitable if you are: pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within 2 months; diagnosed with medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2 syndrome; diagnosed with pancreatitis; Type 1 diabetic; or under 18 years of age.

8. Drug Interactions

GLP-1 medications may interact with other medications, particularly insulin and oral diabetes drugs. Always disclose all current medications to your doctor during your consultation.

9. Website Content

10. DCGI-Approved Medications Only

FitScript supplies only DCGI-approved generic GLP-1 medications from licensed manufacturers. We do not supply unapproved, counterfeit, or imported medications.
